Jessie is excited to join PTV as the part-time Director of Finance & Administration, combining her love for the state of Vermont with 20 years of nonprofit administration experience. Jessie grew up in Central Vermont, decided to raise her family in the area, and has dedicated her career to serving mission-focused institutions that serve her fellow Vermonters, including the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, the Chandler Center for the Arts, the former Woodbury College, and the former Vermont College.
In addition to working at PTV, Jessie is pursuing her passion for literature and writing by working on a master’s degree in English through Harvard University’s Extension School. A proud graduate of Vermont College’s Adult Degree Program, she is an enthusiastic life-long learner who believes no one is ever too old to go back to school.
Jessie lives in Montpelier with her husband Ben where they are periodically visited by their city-loving adult children. She also enjoys singing, making art, and spending as much time in the woods as possible –walking, running, or meandering every day.
