Pierce’s Store

When Marjorie Pierce died, she bequeathed her family’s shuttered country store to PTV with the hope that it would one day reopen to serve the people of Shrewsbury. After extensive renovations, the store re-opened in 2009 as a cooperative and today is as a place to buy necessary goods as well as an important gathering place in this small town.
