Walker Memorial Library, Pittsford
The 1895 Walker Memorial Library, located in the heart of Pittsford, is a Richardsonian Romanesque gem. The building serves as the public library for the community and hosts regular public programming, including knitting club, toddler story time, health and fitness classes, and a wide variety of book clubs. The organization received a 1772 Foundation Grant in 2021 to support the first phase of the storm window projects. This grant will support the second phase of the storm window project, which will replace inappropriate and inefficient old aluminum storms with custom wood storm windows.
1772 Grant Funds Awarded: $10,000
