Middlebury College Munroe Hall - Black River Design’s extensive renovations restored and updated a traditional academic building on the campus quad.

Jan Lewandoski is the owner of Restoration and Traditional Building, a company specializing in heavy timber repair and restoration of barns churches, and wooden bridges. They also reproduce architectural finish work for these structures. Jan and his crew have been doing this work for over 30 years, mostly in Vermont, bu also nationwide and in Canada. Recently he spent 5 years re-erecting a Chinese house, Yin You Tang, for the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA.
