We are a group of petrographers, chemists, and materials scientists that specialize in the analysis of historic North American masonry and concrete materials. Highbridge supports architects, conservators, and other masonry professionals engaged in repairs or restoration of historic buildings. Our services include mortar analysis in full accordance with ASTM C1324, and brick testing for basic classification through data determination for hygrothermal modeling. We also perform stone characterization and mechanical/durability evaluations for candidate replacement materials.
