Lisa supports Preservation Trust of Vermont’s impact through her work with donors and philanthropy. This means she tries to see all PTV’s projects, partnerships and plans through the eyes of the community of donors (and might-be donors). In partnership with the staff and Board, her job is to help make it easy for supporters to make gifts, feel awesome about their giving, and feel how they are part of the wide PTV family.

A third-generation New Yorker, after graduating from Vassar College Lisa began her fundraising career in the NYC museum world, and then replanted to Vermont where she worked for area and statewide nonprofits in advancement, volunteerism, and strategic community development. Prior to joining PTV in 2021, Lisa was the Development Director at Grounds for Health and the Lake Champlain Waldorf School. She is a fiber enthusiast and has a hobby/business that brings her to far corners of the state to find and revitalize vintage treasures.

Lisa lives in Shelburne, with her husband Peter in one of the town’s oldest farmhouses. Decades of renovations reveal newspaper insulation, strange (and pointless?) subfloors…or no subfloors. And every room carries the history of raising two smart and resilient daughters who just expect that furniture never stays put in any one place for very long.
