Linda Markin had a forty year career as a financial professional before Paul Bruhn asked if she would join Preservation Trust of Vermont as Chief Financial Officer. She thought she had retired but Paul persuaded her otherwise. He didn’t have to twist her arm. She had the chops necessary to do the work and she was excited to join an organization that had been so effective at preserving Vermont’s important places and prioritizing vibrant communities. Linda lives in Hardwick with her spouse, Marie, five birds and two dogs. She serves on the board of the High Meadows Fund, hikes, skis, cycles and gardens when the sun shines and knits, reads and enjoys being with family and friends.
