Though only less than a year old, Kit is a Border Collie with grand aspirations to herd sheep. Both of her parents are working sheepdogs in Maine.
Kit loves belly rubs, hiking in the woods, meeting new people and meat snacks. Kit dislikes sneezes, big trucks, echoes, and getting her toenails clipped. Kit deeply regrets doing all bad things, even though they seemed like a good idea at the time.
She lives on a historic farmstead in Bennington, Vermont with her handler-in-training Meg Campbell and her handler’s husband Donald, plus too human siblings that come-and-go at will. Also on the farm are eight sheep, six laying hens, two rabbits, one cat, and one confused rooster.
