Old North Church, North Danville

Located in the middle of the woods at the intersection of two dirt roads, Danville’s Old North Church was constructed through the combined efforts of four denominations to serve as the North Danville Meeting House. Regular services ended in 1911, but weekly Lamplight Services in the 1950s rekindled interest in the building and led to a series of stabilization projects. The building was transferred to the Danville Historical Society in 1964 and is stewarded by the Old North Church Board of Volunteers. The Historical Society hosts Lamplight programs every summer, local events and occasional weddings. Funds will support exterior painting.
