Norwich Grange Hall, Norwich
Constructed in 1892, the former Harness Shop-turned-Grange Hall was home to the local Grange for over 100 years. The building hosted countless pancake breakfasts, bake sales, community dinners, meetings, and gatherings. One of the most cherished local traditions is the holiday pageant, where generations of Norwich children gather on the porch dressed as angels. That tradition was discontinued after the porch was deemed unsafe. The Norwich Community Collaborative purchased the Grange Hall 2022 to revitalize a core community gathering place. Funds will support the rehabilitation of the front porch.Â
