Exit 4 Benefit Concerts

Exit 4 Open Space will be having two benefit concerts at Chandler Music Hall in Randolph, on Saturday June 3rd and Saturday June 10th.  Both shows will start at 6:30 pm. The June 3rd show will feature folk musicians John Gailmore, Susie Smolen and Randolphs’s own, Cobalt Tolbert.  The June 10th show will feature rock bands Second Wife and the Shugarmakers.  Suggested donation at the door will be $20.

Proceeds from these shows will go towards the fundraising efforts to purchase the remaining 22 acres of land at Exit 4 in Randolph, which the Preservation Trust of Vermont has reached an agreement on to buy for $1 million, if the funds can be raised by June 15th. Preservation of these last 22 acres are critical to preserving the iconic westerly view of the mountains at Exit 4, Randolph’s gateway, and to protect the prime agricultural land that is downhill and adjacent  to the site from potential runoff that would be caused if the site were to be developed. Read more…
