Since 1982, the Preservation Trust has recognized outstanding efforts in the field of historic preservation.

Awards are presented to individuals, groups, and organizations who have made exemplary contributions to saving and preserving Vermont’s built environment and cultural landscapes. Examples represent a broad range of activities, including remarkable preservation or adaptive use of an historic property, creation of new educational materials and programs, innovations in building trades and professional training, outstanding long-term stewardship of an historic property, generous financial support, and special leadership in community building through preservation.

If you know of a person, group of people, or a project deserving of an award, we encourage you to send in an application soon! The application is below.

The deadline for nominations submissions is midnight on Sunday March 3, 2024.

Winners will be notified in mid-March. All awards will be presented at our annual conference on Wednesday June 5, 2024 in Bellows Falls, Vermont.
