Castleton Free Library, Castleton
The Castleton Free Library is an attractive, slate-roofed brick building that occupies a prominent place in the designated “Village” area of the town of Castleton. The original brick building was completed in 1928 to serve as a public library for the Town and offers a wide variety of children’s and adult programs. It is owned by the Town but maintained by The Castleton Library. Funds will be used to rehabilitate and/or reconstruct the building’s three chimneys.
