Ben Doyle

President, PRH President

Ben is the President of the Preservation Trust of Vermont. He has spent his entire professional career in service to rural communities as a Peace Corps volunteer and administrator, high school educator, and most recently in a variety of leadership roles at USDA Rural Development. Raised in the Northeast Kingdom, Ben is passionate about the history of, and potential for, Vermont’s communities.

Ben has served as Chair of Vermont Humanities board, President of the Vermont Community Development Association, and currently is on the Boards of VSECU, the Public Assets Institute, and the Northeast Kingdom Collaborative. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds an MA in the Humanities and Social Thought from New York University.

Ben lives in a historic fixer-upper in Montpelier with his wife Angela and three young children, Sal, Rosemary, and Frances.
