A Visit to Cornish, NH Barn Tour, Lunch, Art and Culture Experience Spend a delightful day across the Connecticut River in Cornish, NH. Start of with a tour of a lovingly restored double English Barn on a 400-acre Tree Farm with stunning views of Mount Ascutney and the hills of NH. Enjoy a picnic lunch on-site with the landowner, along with the former Superintendent of Saint Gaudens National Historic Site and learn about the life and times of American Sculptor, Augustus Saint Gaudens, a member of the Cornish Art Colony. After lunch, enjoy a special guided tour of Saint Gaudens NHS, seeing the home, art galleries, outdoor statues, and fabulous gardens. Bring your camera! If time allows, we will also visit the Plainfield Town Hall to see the famous Maxfield Parrish Stage Set. The lucky winner will take home award-winning Cornish Cookies for the ride back.
